The platform is not open source today. The free plan is real (10 monitors, 1 status page, commercial use allowed) and the private probe is a Docker container you run in your own infra.
Can I use both?
Yes. You can keep Uptime Kuma for an internal dashboard and use Qualimonitor for managed outside-in checks or a client-facing status page.
What happens when the server hosting my Kuma goes down?
That's the structural gap of self-hosted monitoring: it often dies with the infrastructure it watches. Qualimonitor checks from managed probes outside your network, so the alert still reaches you.
